WHY THE NAME “PALETTE FILMS”?
It takes several elements to make any kind of film. Many an artist and painters use a palette to blend and mix different colors of paint to obtain the perfect shade of color to use on their piece of work. We do the same thing for our films. We blend and mix technical skills, story, artistic talents all to tell a captivating story that we hope will document, relive, and inspire those who experience it.
WHAT KIND OF FILMS DO YOU MAKE?
You name it we will do our best. We are not “videographers”, but STORYTELLERS. There are so many stories to be told. From weddings, artists, local organizations, businesses or even personal family films we strive to tell stories in a creative, cinematic manner. We allow to story to be the main focus for any film.
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO FILM MAKING?
Everyone, every story, every couple is different. We want yor final story to reflect and transpire everything you need to document, relive or tell. First we sit down and before we even talk business we like to get to know you and who you are. Then from there we build a story base that we build on with scenes, shots, music and other elements to make a captivating film.

WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
We do our best to not let equipment control us. As storytelling artist we want to be functional and able to work with all kinds of tools. Currently we shoot on Canon HDSLR cameras. With the flexibility of size, lenses and weight they allow us to move quickly and efficiently
